Report Investigating D.C. Schools Cheating Will Be Released

dcogcadmin | September 4, 2009

The Washington Post sought to use D.C.’s Freedom of Information Act to acquire a copy of a report that the city commissioned last year upon being presented with evidence of possible widespread cheating on state exams.  Bill Turque reports that although the Post’s request for the report was denied, the city will make the report available to the public today.  The report apparently concludes that the probe into whether 26 District public and public charter schools cheated on standardized tests last year was inconclusive.
