Work performed on D.C. Council Chair Vincent Gray’s house may have been undertaken without the proper license, according to a Washington Times review of records related to the construction company that did the work.

Work performed on D.C. Council Chair Vincent Gray’s house may have been undertaken without the proper license, according to a Washington Times review of records related to the construction company that did the work. According to records released by the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs, prior to October 1st the contractor did not have a license to perform home repairs in the District, and two subcontractors may not be licensed to operate in the District at all.  Freedom of Information Act requests sent by the paper confirmed last week that no building permits had been requested for the property.  Washington Times
