As reported here in Legal Times, D.C. Auditor Deborah Nichols has sued for access to records related to the now-defunct Anacostia Waterfront Corporation and the National Capital Revitalization Corporation. Nichols seeks the records as part of an audit of the District’s economic development efforts; the City’s Attorney General Peter Nickles had restricted Nichols’ access to the records, calling an earlier subpoena overly broad.  Nickles argues that many of the records are privileged.
