The District’s auditor should have access to all of the records from the now-defunct National Capital Revitalization Corporation and the Anacostia Waterfront Corporation, a judge has ruled. The city’s attorney general had sought to restrict access to the records, and has said that he will challenge the ruling. As reported here by Mark Segraves for WTOP.com, "The ruling by D.C. Superior Court Judge Eugene Hamilton marks the first time the legislative branch of the District government has used a subpoena to get records from the executive branch."
