D.C. Council Releases Transcripts of Closed Committee Hearings on Contracting Issues

Long-running uncertainty about public access to last year’s D.C. Council hearings on contracting issues ended today (15) with the release of transcripts. The Coalition protested the closed hearings at the time, arguing that most likely only parts of the material required presentation behind closed doors.

Council Member Mary Cheh (D-Ward 3) also released her report analyzing the contracting issues involved, based on the committee’s months of review of the testimony and documents. The Post initial article reviewing the report’s revelations is here.
